I know it should be in the other forum, but I'm this |-| close to killing someone over this :(

I mean, Keanu ****ing Reeves  the guy couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag and they put him in this?

I need a drink.

Why? What difference does it make? It's a remake of an old classic so it's bound to be crap who ever leads it. Could be worse, could have been Will Smith.

Or Will Ferrell.

The old classic is rubbish.
Hope the remake is good as it should be a good film.

A lot of classic films are only liked because of cult status.

Did you not see the cast list? :p
It has as much chance of being good as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift did.

Cast list don't mean much to me. It's much more down to the director and style of the film.

Looking at the director's credits, I can see a very, very bad film coming out of this ;D
And I agree with Wossi, it shouldn't be remade anyhow.

Aaargh looks like the director's remaking The Birds :( Noooooooo. How wrong can you get :(

Tokyo Drift was awesome, easily the best of the three films.

That's not saying much though, is it? ;D

A remake of the birds? I can see it being as bad as the Gus Van Sant remake of Psycho :'(

I dunno, I didn't think the first and third were that bad, the second was absolutely awful though.

On the bright side it does have Jennifer 'A** to A**' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0180093/) Connelly in it!

Or Will Ferrell.

This is very true, I'd love to know who gave him a break into 'comedy' so I can return the favour with interest.

Unlucky Wossi, I've not seen the original but I can't see the remake being any improvement, especially not with Keanu "my best roles involve me acting like an automaton" Reeves* starring.

*He is in one of the films I enjoy most but I do recognise he can't act worth a damn.

Good point. The Matrix gave the illusion that Reeves' is a half good actor lol!

I'd actually be kind of keen to see this version.

Guilty. Manga one, not the live action though.
