So who is planning on seeing it? Have you seen any trailers?

All I'll say is in my opinion it's their best film yet.

I nearly cried :o just felt very sad at times. I don't get very emotional when watching films but this film was just so involving and emotive.

I worry when a film has had such good reviews, its almost always a disappointment. But Pixar can do no wrong, and I heard one film critic call this film 'Cinematic perfection' so I'll stay optimistic :)

It came out in the states already. I saw it the same time I saw Kung Fu Panda (since I can't afford to just see one movie at 10 bucks a pop), and while they were both good, Wall-E was just magical. It was really beautiful. Could easily be one of my favorite Disney movies ever. I know you will all enjoy it!!!

There are a few movies due out this year that I've been waiting in anticipation to see, and this is definitely one of them.

Can't wait.

Loved it. :D

Pixars best film to date for me. Also the most mature. I'm not entirely sure it's 100% suitable for the very young, but I loved it.

And the Animated short at the beginning was superb as well.

Watched this the other afternoon with Kari, whilst dodging an excessively hot afternoon. What a beautiful film :) I don't think its the best Disney/Pixar film, but it certainly ranks up there amongst them, and most definitely worth the watch. Good to hear Norm's voice again :D

Saw it last night!

It was good... but as Garp said - not their best! TBH I was a little disappointed (thought it was going to be AAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAZING!) Even still, I really enjoyed it!

Heh, I did become very involved with it though and there was one bit in the film where I involuntarily exclaimed "Ooh!" really loudly... frustratingly it was when everything went silent. My friends and Picky did sideways glances at me and laughed! *cue me coming back to reality and sinking further into my chair*

Hehehehehe!

For sheer entertainment value, I would personally suggest that Ratatouille just pips Wall-E to the post, but as a piece of cinema, the wee robot is champ. 9/10 for me purely because they wrapped it up a liiiiiittle tiny bit fast at the end. Besides that, it was near perfect.

Oh, and awesome film to take girls to see :D

I liked it, though I won't be recommending it tbh. I love "kids" films e.g. Shrek or Nemo as there is conversation in it through out the film whereas......this film's main characters said nothing else apart from "Waaaaleeeeeee" :/

You fundamentally misunderstood this movie if you think it needed dialogue to carry the story. Additionally, it was incalculably superior to Shrek.

but that is the sheer genius of it. For around 45 minutes there is no single word of dialogue but you get so much emotion from Wall-E and Eve. As Pyle said you've misunderstood the point of the film that you can say so much without having to use words.

Watched this last night with 2 mates and it was just an utterly lovely film. One of the girls loved it and the other one said she didn't really get it. I think she thought I was a bit odd for laughing at the Mac OS sound when he re-booted too :p It was just a really well thought out film and there were so many little bits that made me smile.

Would a little kid understand it? No, probably not. Does it matter? No, not really. I know that when I was little, I would have just liked the robots because they were cute and made nice sounds. :)
