This is the video that I mentioned before in a thread, the one that has made sure I wont get on a bike again. I havent watched it again, I still see it in my head enough :( Never been affected by any video quite so much as this.

The Dude just cuts across the road though giving the Trucker or himself No chance at all. Clear case of not checking your Blind spot if you ask me.
About tore him in half by the looks of it & the Flopping of the arm at the end is like an exclamation mark of "Gulp"
Lets hope it gets the message across "CHECK YOUR BLIND SPOT"

Erk.

Seen a few nasty crashes in the past but none involving bikes. It's just... not good. When I had a scooter donkey yonks ago the amount of times I nearly got whacked over by stupid drivers or lorries was ridiculous. Glad I got rid of it now.

YAY for the puppies though... made me feel better.

Is it definately real? The blood seems too bright.

Maybe it's just me clutching onto thinking it isn't real - what an awful way to go otherwise. :(

Large volumes of blood suddenly exposed to the air does look like that unfortunately.

Yeah, it's real, at least in my opinion. Having looked at it more closely, I agree with Malc. You can see the scooter start from the inside and then cut right across the front of the truck. He really didn't have much time to avoid him.
