Any suggestions to a half-decent iPod dock that I can just drop my Touch in for charging and syncing? It doesn't need to have attached speakers or anything fancy but as long as I can easily dock and undock it and it'd be good if the new iPhone will fit as well (thinking of the future).

apple make a universial dock, £30 there about, not cheap, comes with charger and remote too.

well if you can find an older 3rd gen ipod you should be able to get a dock with it. Or maybe find a dock as we have one but I'm not sure what the compatibility is for the new touch.

Yer its a pretty good piece of kit, apart from that it doesn't take the iPhone 3G which is STUPID! But great because you can just drop your iPod in and hook it up to your stereo fully remoted up.

Not out of the box, sure, but there is always these (http://bit.ly/F3ICl), no idea why you'd want a 3-pack of them though... Alternatively, you can get a bit crafty with a dremel (http://bit.ly/1u0Yz8). (Do a better job than that guy though...)

Hello there :) You could do what I did yesterday and buy the 3g dock. iPhone looks very nice in it but theres no remote which is annoying.

You don't even get a remote with Mac's anymore, kind of lame, just as they no longer give out free docks. Although, to be brutally honest, I probably use my remote about 6 times a year, it's not really so friendly with my iPod Touch while it's docked. I certainly wouldn't have bought a remote.

I got the universal dock, but once again I've got an Apple product with no Apple stickers in the box. That's the keyboard and this, what is the world coming to?

I have some stickers somewhere I can bring along to a meet, if you want them that much. :p
