Video Cameras - best price and lightweight?

Hello

My boss's leaving present - she is going on safari and getting married afterwards, so I thought of getting a video camera - we should raise between £150 - £200.

Something lightweight, thought about binoculars but someone said that you would only ever use them on safari.

Any suggestions would be appreciated :)
