So simple, but the troops here absolutely love it! Infact, the options for tea tonight were sea shell chicken or mcdonalds, and the mcdonalds was snubbed.

I'm not going to bother with cooking instructions, it's too easy.

All you need is enough pasta for how ever many people you're feeding, we use the shell pasta, but any kind could be used. Some garlic butter, a whole roast chicken and some fresh parmesan for grating.

Ready grated parmesan is well and good, but even my 4 year old will tell you that freshly grated parmesan is the best, and it keeps in the fridge for a few weeks.

I always put the garlic butter in the bottom of the bowls, then the pasta, then the chicken and mix it all up.

It's soooo popular here, I finished cooking at quarter past, and by half past I was being asked what was for pudding if there wasnt anymore pasta ;D

Where's the vegetables? That's no way to bring kids up :D

I would wilt some spinach in with that, sounds delish. Mmmm I have leftover chicken as well.

They love their fruit and veg! I would've put peas or sweetcorn in with it tonight, but little un loves peas far too much and would've only eaten them and thrown the rest at me.

With the amount of fruit and veg my kids consumed yesterday, I didnt really dare give them too much today! They've both had terrible wind.

I hate spinach. If I'm going to put veg in it, then generally I'll opt for broccoli. But putting veg in it normally means making a sauce too, and I was feeling lazy tonight :P

I use spinach instead of lettuce in salads nowadays. Keeps fresh for ages and I just nom it up. In fact I took two separate chicken salads to work today, both stuffed full of the stuff!

Or sweetcorn/peas would mix up well into that too :)

//Edit: Hmmmm guess who just realised he'd left this thread open for a long time before he found it again and replied :p

Think I'll try this with kids as they love pasta, atm its the only thing Georgie will eat much of.
I will add sweetcorn and peas i think.
