How could you ever top Tim Curry and Richard O'Brian in the roles? And no doubt they'll water down the innuendo and everything that makes it so good, just to make it more palatable to what they perceive as the Modern American Audience.

I'm not in favour of it, but to be fair at least senior people involved in the original are involved in the remake.

It's not like some random studio decided to buy the license and let Uwe Boll direct - this seems to carry a bit of credibility.

I'm not sure I've ever seen it either. I did see the stage show several years ago (can't remember when or where, or why :().
