Why oh why did I do that? I came back from lunch, clicked on "New Posts" saw "Not for the squeamish" and decided that should be the first thread I open.

Yeah I saw that (I quite enjoy weightlifting) and not only does that elbow go pop nicely the bar lands on his shoulders rather hard too... Poor guy that's going to hurt :( I know what it's like to dislocate something and it really is agonising.

Oooh, had big burly coppers wincing at that one!

The Sgt said "Ouch, that's career ending. Mind you I'm sure that's the last thing on hin mind as he's writhing round on the floor 'Oh bugger that's my weightlifting career over'"

I looked at the first 10 seconds and decided that I had an idea what was coming next so closed the window.

He drops bar on his head. I don't know why people are screaming about it. It's very very tame.

I did yelp a bit purely because I know of the pain. :'(

Ooooh.
That looked even more painful than the end of my first relationship.

How great was it that the people ran on with the little sight screens and then on the last camera angle you can see that the auditorium is empty.

Isn't that somewhat irrelevant when you have around 1bn potential TV viewers.

I must admit it took me about three viewings to see the damage :o (obviously I knew there was a problem straight away :p)

And then what was the point when they showed the replay again...and again..

If this is what I think it is I saw the static pictures the other day and that looked bad enough, possibly even worse as you can see the exact moment where it goes and then see the after effects in gruesome detail. I hope the guy gets better sooner rather than later but I can't see him ever wanting to lift weights again.
