OK, so the game doesn't have an official name, but the idea is to get from one pre-determined Wiki page to another in the least number of clicks. The current challenge on the Collings and Herrin podcast is to get from La Cagoule (French fascist anti-communist group) to Frank Bruno. Richard Herring did it on his first try in seven or eight clicks (has to be links within the text of the article).

You can either try that (I'm about to), or we can try a different one!

My first attempt:

1. Hand grenades
2. Pyrotechnics
3. Queen
4. Elton John
5. Spice World
6. Frank Bruno

Yeah.

The point of the game is getting from one wikipedia page to another by clicking on links present in the articles.

I almost had Manson -> Jintao through Beavis and Butthead but it didnt pan out :(

Try Lemon curd (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemon_curd) to Jeremy Clarkson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Clarkson). Small starting point makes it a lot harder.

Yeah.

The point of the game is getting from one wikipedia page to another by clicking on links present in the articles.

Ok, just thought that maybe it wasn't as there are always external links.

Someone try Banana to October Revolution.

You can just about do it with: Banana - Banana Republic - Absurdistan (this link is at the bottom of the page not in the main body of the article) - Soviet Union - Russian Revolution of 1917.

Or doing it properly - Banana - European Union - Russia - October Revolution.

How about Angel - Koala? I've got no idea of the ease for that one as I haven't tried it yet.

By the way, you are all officially 2 degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon, just by knowing me.

Me -> knows Kenny Loggins -> writer/performer of Footloose song for the movie that of course Kevin Bacon starred in, and has also played on stage with the Bacon Brothers (his band he has with his brother)

So... congratulations :p

Richard Herring is my fav comedian. Is there a podcast of this?

Collings and Herrin - Andrew Collins and Richard Herring podcast.

If you subscribe on iTunes you can download all of them [up to about 20 now]. It helps to have listened to them from the start to get the injokes [I arrived late and had to download and listen to about ten at the start!] but each week it's mainly just topical banter so you can start with the most recent if you want.

If you do that though you probably won't get any of the references to Andrews mum being a ****ing idiot, panda hands, Lion Man, bumming or oat-milk.

Apologies for the square brackets, my nine key is broken.
