Later today after we get home from the Tudor Fair at Kentwell Hall I'm going to be removing the ATI9800 Pro from this box and replacing it with an Nvidia 6600GT.

Any hints, tips, driver suggestions, etc that I should know about?

It has two DVI ports on the arse end, which is primary?

Uninstall old drivers. Reboot.
Run driver cleaner (http://www.drivercleaner.net/professional.php) (follow included instructions and take care). Shutdown.
Remove old card, insert new.
Power on and install new drivers.
Worked for me (though I was going in the other direction).

As for which is primary, try the one furthest from the motherboard first.

I've got one of them in my new gaming rig - it's excellent, you won't be disappointed.
