Do you think they'd be welcomed with open arms and a cheery smile? Or do you expect that people in the pub would be on the defensive and then suspicious of anyone else new that came in who recognised the new person, suspecting they were out to cause trouble?
In the 2+ years that BD has been running lots of people have come here and been welcome and welcomed with open arms and warm attitudes, and most have stayed. This is first time a non-bot has been welcomed with anything less, and they only brought it on themselves, and unfortunately others at the same time.

Treat him like any other new member- with a warm welcome and a friendly tone. If he then turns round and throws it back in your face by acting like a tit, stomp on him.

I don't think this place is what most of the SPS lot are looking for. Most will come over, have a look, possibly get bored then leave. Start up the attitude-generator (tm) and don't be surprised if some of them go mental and spoil things here.

You've got a good thing going here, give people the benefit of the doubt and if they break your rules then ban them.....but at least warm the welcome mat a little to begin with, huh?
