Took my sister to Ikea today and on the way we have to go on the Coventry ring road. Joined the ring road no problems and finally saw the turn off we needed. Good thing it was our turn off otherwise I wouldn't have looked and wouldn't have seen the complete utter moronic **** stain who thought it would be a good idea to try and merge into my lane when he was next to me at 60mph. The gods must have been looking over me as I managed to break and avoid him smashing into me. I ended up stopped still on a major ring road.

That is possibly the last time I venture into Coventry again.

That is the most sensible thing I have heard in a long time! :D

There are some complete and utter idiots on the road! Thankfully you were abit wiser than him :)

Same reason I try and avoid driving in the London postcodes. Apart from the traffic and hustle and bustle people are just impatient morons, like tailgating and overtaking in 30 zones when I'm already doing 35. WTF?

Another reason to love the countryside- When impatient people get right up your backside (Yes I'm still talking about driving) You can stick it in first and let the tickover drive you along at a leisurely 5mph... the blissful country lanes aren't wide enough for overtaking and therefore- one must back off my rear bumper unless they are happy to travel at such tortoise-esque speeds!

Wossi, what the hell were you doing going to Ikea in the first place? That was your first mistake ;)

This is exactly why the midlands should be avoided.

This is why the West Midlands should be avoided. East Midlands is rather nice, apart from the news at 6.30, God I hate that woman.

Oh and Phykell, Going to Ikea in the first place would be the first mistake I made. Nearly got lost round there again :(

West Midlands is awesome, certain parts anyway. I used to live in Knowle just across the M42 from Solihull. Wonderful people, good drivers and no dodgy accents.
Something funny, Birmingham International Airport isn't actually in Birmingham, it's in Solihull, much to Birmingham Council's annoyance. It's a shame they got rid of the Maglev though, that was awesome.

Only when I lived in Wolverhampton was it awesome!
