I think I saw the entire series of cities of gold is now on DVD. When you'll get to watch 39 episodes I don't know! I just remember they showed it twice we went on holiday both times it came to the last episode :(

Cagney and Lacey, I was allowed to sneak down (when me and my sister had gone to bed) and watch it after the 9 o'clock news. I had such a crush on Christine Cagney.

As mentioned, The Adventure Game (Gronda, gronda, Rangdo), Krypton Factor, Grange Hill, Tiswas (Phwoar, Sally James!), Swap Shop, all the old film serials - Flash Gordon and Buck Rodgers starring Larry "Buster" Crabbe.

And one no-one ever remembers - Captain Zep (Captain Zep, Captain Zep, Ooo-oooo, super space detective!)

Blue Thunder was a rival belly-popper based TV series.

It was better bacause the feature length first episode had Ray Scheider in it.
