Hi,

I have been looking at staying in Bath for a weekebd with Mrs Tysonator in December for the Xmas markets. The only reasonable priced Hotels I can find are in Bristol. So then I think what is parking going to be like the week of the Xmas market ?

Has any one stayed or lives in Bath can can give me some ideas please.

Many thanks

Park up any of the hills in the residential bits and there will be plenty of space, especially up the north end of Bath. Can't help with hotels I'm afraid. Hookers yes, but not hotels.

It's about 10-15 minutes to the centre. The city is really small.

Bath should be called Shower. It rains pretty much constantly there but although it's sat in a valley it never actually fills up.

Whenever we go to Bath we park by Victoria Park as there is a lot of free parking there, and if that is full there's Pay & Display in the same area. It's only a 5 min walk from the centre.

Park and Ride is probably your best bet from Bristol. They're located on most approaches to Bath.
They drop off right in the centre

Park & Ride, seems to be the norm now for large towns and cities.

If you're staying in the centre of Bristol then try to go and have a look around Cabot Circus which opened last week.
It's an enormous project to expand the shopping centre in Bristol and win back buisness from the Mall out at Cribbs Causeway.
