An AC or Inter Milan match, probably the most famous stadium in the World, the San Siro.

My father said there's a Pizza place just near the ground too that stone bakes them fresh, he said it's the best pizza he's ever had.

Sadly, I've never been.

I've been about half a dozen times and I still have no idea where anything is. Granted I spend most of my time there in either an exhibition hall or office block :(

If I could remember where it is, there's a great little restaurant where the food is to die for.

So, no help here as I'm useless :(

Milan - the defintion of a **** hole.

That said, they sure can cook. If you end up staying anywhere near Porta Romana, head to the Teverna Calabiana on via Benaco. It's just around the corner from our office in Milan and the steak cooked in the wood oven is divine!

Nicely put. Graffitti everywhere (even worse than Rome), the place is filthy and there's almost nothing to do other than shop (waits for the girls asking how that is a -ve thing, lol).

My advice?
Bypass the place and goto Florence. It's simply beautiful there.

Turin is very close by and worth a days visit if it is sunny.

Leon & I weren’t keen on Milan at all. It was just a dirty, sprawling city without much to do. We stayed there for a few days before/after our trip up to the Italian lakes and it was too long really.

The Duomo (cathedral) is worth a look, but it’s been covered with scaffolding for the past god knows how many years and probably will be for years to come. As already mentioned, the football stadium is worth visiting too. They do tours and have a museum. Not sure if you have a hire car, but Monza is a pretty cool day out too if you’re into your motors. We went because Leon wanted to walk on the old banking and were lucky enough to see them testing out a Ferrari F1 car whilst we were there. You can also take the train to Venice for a day trip if you fancy it. You can book tickets in advance before you go. It mightn’t be so busy this time of year. We went on a day following some huge thunderstorms and it was quite quiet and pleasant. Again, not somewhere I’d want to go for more than a day. Oh, buy some ice cream and a granite whilst you’re in Milan. They’re gorgeous!

If you can get the chance, get up to the lakes. Lake Como is stunning, but be warned, they have their own weather system there due to the mountains and if you get offered a boat ride, be wary of how choppy the water can get. Nearly died the other year when I went due the waves.

nice city though, duomo was gorgous, well worth the few euros to head up to the top too.

went to see bergamo, proper GORGOUS little town. far nicer than Milan, but not as much to do.
