“Only the small secrets need to be protected. The big ones are kept secret by public incredulity.” Marshall McCluhan (http://thailandsamurai.wordpress.com/2007/06/15/short-and-sweet/)

I've just watched this, and I have to say its really opened my eyes! I finally realise how all the countries in the world can have a national debt, which was something I always wondered about. Seriously this is worth your time and effort to watch, not that you'll be able to do anything about it but the more people who understand it the better :)

Cheers for this, that's something I've always wondered about too. Will watch it later :)

Well that was certainly an education.

I suspected it'd be about fractional reserve banking, and I was right, but until now that was just words.

Which all makes for an interesting point - the Government is borrowing £50bn from the banks to invest in the banks. Say bye bye to that £50bn, folks.

That was really really interesting, whoever made that is a great person, its not overly patronising but still very informative to someone who has no idea how anything really works (me). Really enjoyed watching it :).
