Quck question re above is it worth getting. Went into Blockbuster at lunch and they had an offer of 2 for £18.99 so was thinking Is it really crap if its so low priced or is it a bargain bucket bargain along with GT5 or Virtua Fighter

Ninja Gaiden 1/Sigma is an utterly epic game, sadly i haven't had access to ninja gaiden 2 yet so can't comment.

Well all of the releases are quite highly regarded so for £9 you can't go wrong really. Be warned though, you WILL lose your temper at least once.

The ps3 version is good. I'm not sure which one [one or two] I have at home, but the damn game is freaking hard and I mean proper hard even on normal settings.

I can pop it the post for you if you wanna play it, as I havent played mine in ages.

It's better than the other 2 you mentioned, though if you've already completed it on the XBox (original) it's probably not worth it.

Brilliant game though. I also really liked Virtua Fighter 5, I bought it on the PS3 the day it came out but be warned, unlike the Xbox360 version it doesn't have online multiplayer which is a shame, but it's still a top game none-the-less.

GT5 also isn't GT5 in the sense that it's a full game, it's more of an extended tech demo, it's GT5p (prologue) and doesn't feature enough in it to warrant a purchase - I had the Japanese version and was left thoroughly unimpressed though I will by the full version when it arrives in 2009 (though likely 2010).

It's the newest (only) on the PS3, it's a remake of the original Xbox version. If you have bought an Xbox360 without telling me then you have access to Ninja Gaiden II, which is the newest one, but as of the moment, exclusive to the Xbox360.

Either way, the original is brilliant - just ask Davey_Pitch.

It's not a port of an Xbox360 game, the XBox360 doesn't have Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but the original Xbox has Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden Black (both the same, just with minor changes in Black) and Sigma is another minor modification to that.

If you remain unsure of it there is a demo on the PSN store which isn't too bad - it's longer than most, but not a good chunk of gameplay in comparison to the full game.

I actually have the xbox version at home but only played it for 5 minutes :o that was when I first got my 360 and in my defense I also had Gears of War sat next to it so that got played instead ;D

You will get nothing for Resistance. I got about £5 for it over a year ago. You're best using it as leverage towards a trade with someone. Use the CEX website for a rough guide on trade-in prices and see how much you might get, though often you can knock a few quid off for Gamestation or GAME as CEX are known for being strong traders, though on CoD4 I actually got £4 more from Game.

Which was nice.
