The last few days I've had more of my main pet hate occuring: random people adding me or messaging me out of the blue without saying why or where they found my tag from.
Why?! I wouldn't add some random person for no reason, certainly not without explaining why first. Plus, in the past when I've just accepted anyone, they talk for about 5mins then never again (which has been the case for me on MSN in the past), which is why I never add anyone without knowing who they are first.

I just don't get it, and despite being not much of an inconvenience, it's still an irrational irritation :o

Any other pet hates for you lot? :D

Oh and as a disclaimer: I don't mind anyone on here adding me :p It's entirely random people who I've never heard of in my life nor ever played a game with.

You can set it to reject messages from random people which is fine, but useless without being able to block friend requests imo. If they try and message you, find out they cant, they'll likely just send you a FR anyway :D

In terms of service, I have issues with the marketplace that will be sorted when the new dash comes out, but my main niggle is with the stars system - it's useless, it only really shows you who plays on live a lot. They need a better system to highlight the tools online, and then implement some way for me to avoid them in matchmaking.

American kids.

One of the main reasons I hardly play online anymore is that I play when it's infested with 13 year old American kids who stuggle to understand the concept of braking in a driving game.

Yup! I wouldn't mind if they said who they were, it's when you get a random 'Hi' it's daft.

I've never had problems with American kids, infact they are almost always ace with me. British kids are much worse, bad manners, awful attitudes and no education or class.

People that quit because there losing

Really gets my back up. Can handle being called every name under the sun (and if in good company happily dish it out) but I hate quitters :/

Because of the Fable 2 dolls I posted a couple of times on the lionhead and xbox forums.
I'm not exgerating when I say I've had over 40 friend requests this last few days and still have 3 outstanding. I don't mind when they send a note as well but random requests but like you say, totally random requests do me nut in!

I had the same thing with Shadowrun. As a Vista user I was gold dust at the time, and I tell you the abuse I'd get for not dropping everything to go and help some **** with their achievements was shocking. Had to go around getting posts removed on some forums so it stopped!
