I only joined Horde at level 20 but would be game for going through from level 1 :) Avalanche has been suggested as a good map as it has a balcony at the back with 2 ways in up some stairs so I'm happy to hold up there :D

I think it was more to do with the map we were playing on and how far we were stretched considering there was Daz in the middle with you and me at either end. I'd love to give that map a go again on Insane because I think with the respawning weapons and 2 routes up we stand a bloody good chance :D

Cheers Matt and apologies for not being able to join in on Friday night. Had to go and pick the inlaws up from Manc airport in the freezing fog. Two and a half hours standing around put paid to any plans I had of joining with you guys. When I logged on no one was on.

That said I played a few public games. Real good fun playing Horde.

On another note: New idea for a battle biscuit, garibaldis! Solid as anything and easy to fit into ammo belts. They do lack chocolate though :(

I'm dubious as the Bourbon as the Battle Biscuit of choice, although it does have advantages it is obstensively a delicate biscuit with a tendency to come apart at the cream in tense situations, no on wants a Lancer grip covered in chocolate flavored cream filling. I'm swinging back towards Nokkon's original HobNob. The ideal of course would be a rectangular HobNob than could fit in an an ammo pouch. The HobNob is a hardy biscuit with gives thhe impression that is could be imersed in a soggy battle field and still provide a nutritious snack. The Hob Nob could also be employed at any time of the day acting as a musli alternative for breakfast, as an oaty livener during the day or a night time around the campfire telling tales of Locust imolations before bed snackette.

Made it to level 30 on Stasis last night again with a bunch of noobs who refused to communicate withh one another, getting to level 50 from scratch is certainly doable but one would need to be able to comprehensively cover individuals when they go for a pee.

I'd like to get past Lvl 30 on Hrode but I think thats going to take some doing, I'd also like to get past one chevron on my ranking but again thats going to be a tough call and we'll need a good team, Horde doesn't count towards ranking. I'm happy to infight too, I could do with some practice I seem to get mauled against really people but I'm quite good at Horde :/

I'll probably play through the rugby and catch the highlights I'll see how I feel, Aitch is ill at the moment so I might end up having to watch something with her because she'll be bored, but I think I can get a couple of hours in somewhere.

I'm exactly the opposite, can't snipe for toffee but I'm good close in and I'm often close to the top of the kill table on horde. Most of my ventures in to the 20s and 30s on Horde have been with non comunacative people so as aa team who talk to one another I think we could do a good job getting towards level 40/50!

Which is the Hammerburst? I like the pistol with the wings on the bottom which fires in bursts, couple that with a Boomshield and you can take out serious enemies from up close and personal.

Of course :D I always think of it as the Kantus pistol because its only the Kantus that seem to have it. I also like the Torque bow thats as close as I come to snipeing.

I think that's the best way to succeed in Horde. Everyone has a role, and we all watch each others backs. The Longshot is great to taking out any snipers on the other side of the map, and for dealing big damage to the large enemies before they even get close. Oh, and taking out the Kantus' before they bloody revive everyone!

One tactic for Horde that I think will work is having a rotating medic. Each round the role changes and you ONLY take something out if it gets too close, otherwise it's your job to save people :)

The kantus pistol it the best way MB ;) I just know it as the gorgon pistol, always makes me think of small soldiers :D

I tend to rely on my Lancer and then once the big guys turn up I switch to a grenade launcher or a torque bow :)
