I spotted this template in our files today, it has been sent to literally hundreds of clients...
Professional Engagement Letter
In order to meet our professional requirements we need to ensure that an up to date engagement letter is maintained on our files in respect of each client. Therefore I enclose engagement letters for both the limited company and you personally.
The letters set out our respective responsibilities and I should be pleased if you would review the documents to ensure you are in agreement with there contents. If you are satisfied, please sign the letters returning one copy of each to us and retaining the other for your own records.

I actually did cringe at the screen as I got to that part. I know my spelling and grammar aren't brilliant and I do some spectacular typos every now and then but still :confused:
Me too Sam, but for the love of god, this has gone out to our clients! An internal email fair enough... although saying that, the big boss himself cannot differentiate between they're/there/their.

It simply doesn't scan well and that is ignoring the misuse of "there" there. I'm far from perfect in this regard but if you're going to be putting out that sort of thing to clients you really should make sure it flows as nicely as possible.
My thoughts exactly. Good job none of these have had my name signed to them, I would be mortified :/

My god.. it's not hard to differentiate between the three. Any failure to do so has to be down to them being too lazy to bother to learn the difference. It's utterly preposterous? Simple stuff like that should be enough to embarrass them, surely?
