So it turns out that due to me being an ass and not looking after my new tattoo properly over the weekend as I was helping a mate move house, the "skirt" area of my tatto has picked up an infection :( From the looks of things it doesn't look like a red ink allergy, thank god, just your run of the mill infection.

Went to the doctors yesterday who, after being freaked out by it for some reason, prescribed me some 500mg flucloxacillin. 4 pills a day for the next 7 days.

It's really annoyed me and I've got no one to blame but myself as the rest of the tattoo has healed nicely apart from this small bit. I'm now sitting here with a sterile dressing on to keep it clean.

I'm not allergic to anything that I know of, had antibiotics before and I'm still here so should be okay. At leasr it's starting to look a bit better now.

Yes - you can't take flucloxacillin if you're allergic to penicillin as it is a penicillin based antibiotic which is what I meant :)

It's looking better already, just another 5 days or so of tablets :(
