Thread tided up a little with the League ready to kick off just as soon as your ready. All results to be posted in this thread. Pick your team from one of the teams below. All strictly on a first come first served basis. League to be decided on most points>goal difference and then a play off if points & gd are the same. Good luck and have fun :)

If I have missed anything then ask away as appropriate.

I can borrow a friends copy I'm sure.

I'd recommend doing what me and a friend do, random teams and accept the first team that is 4* or higher.

I used to have Fifa 09, but traded it in towards Fable 2 as I was short on funds at the time.

Upto now we have 6 registering an interest.

How about 1 league of six with a round robin playing each other once and the top two play off a final ? I have some time off over Xmas so would this suit everyone better to try and cram a few games in over then ?

Id play, i won league 2 of the ocuk league, and am in the quarter finals of the next champions league game.

This amazes me, as im really quite rubbish at the game.

We have seven confirmed upto now so how about we wait till weekend and see if we get any late comers. With a minimum of seven possibly eight or nine then do you think a league with the top two playing off a final is a go-er ???

I hope I get my form back before we start this. I've moved up to World Class difficulty, and I was still beating teams comfortably (including 5-2 away at Chelsea), but for some reason I just went on a really bad run of form, losing 4 out of 5 and drawing one. Thankfully I was about 18 points clear in the league so I've not had any problems there, but it was amazing how my form had changed and I couldn't create any chances whatsoever. My very last match last night ended up 4-0 to me against Blackburn, so maybe I'm starting to get it back again. I hope so, I don't want to get knocked out of this too early :D

I set up a private league this morning before I came out to work. Originally it's called Boat Drinks Season 1 with a password that I will PM or give out over XBL when I get home from football. In the options I selected Auto Schedule. Now Im not sure if I have to invite you or if you search and join. Not sure either that you can pick your team when you join the league. I think I am entered with Bayern Munich

If anyone is having trouble, basically do the following:

Xbox Live > Online Game modes > Online leagues > Search leagues > "boat drinks" then input the password.

You need to then choose your allocated team and then you will be prompted to download the squad file, do this then you'll have the standings on screen.

Here it displays the players in the league and simply a tick under Online whether they are online, if they are online click on their name and view their gamercard to check they're not in a game already. If they are not, invite them to a league game it will then go to the shirt selection and formations, and away you go! No need to setup game time etc as that will have already been done by loki.
