My Dad had one of those for years. He loved it to bits - right up until he drove it into the back of a bus while fiddling with the radio :(

Outweighing the cool factor though is the fact that that is the car that James May chose to be the best that British Leyland could produce....
Ooh, a wedge :D
(did it go UNDER the bus?) :p - I presume he was ok, there's me making a joke :o
Think I've got a thermostat housing for one of those. One bit at a time ;D

He was completely unscathed - although, with it being a small town, by the time the story got round to my sister, Chinese whispers had turned it into him having broken both legs and possibly never being able to walk again ;D
