So, why are you up at gone midnight? :D
I'm on Horde and can't bring myself to press the off button :p
Trying to get all the treasures in the new Tomb Raider game. Played through the first level three times and got 25/26 every time. With a guide. I suck!
Finally switched it off and now Ferris Bueller's on. Dammit.

I can't be arsed going to bed yet, got a few more races to go in Forza before I do that :)
I can't remember the last time I wasn't awake at this time of night! 3-4am isn't hugely uncommon either. I think I must live in a slightly different timezone to everyone else :o
Not quite insomnia, just lack of enthusiasm to sleep :p
Tonight: I'm watching Law and Order: SVU and about to load up Dungeon Maker for the DS that I've got to review. I was going to say 'but I'll probably go to bed 1ish'.....then I realised it's gone 1 already
Daughter no.2 is still awake and I'm trying to restore my iPod (and failing)

Just got home from work. In bed, wide awake.

In bed, half asleep, making my blog ;D
I'm still working! I've got no less than four projects I'm working on at the moment so there simply aren't enough hours in the day. Luckily I work best at night :)
I'll finish at about 02:00 and be up again by 08:30. Commute downstairs to the living room and begin my working day again :(

Working from home at the moment so don't need to be awake until 8:45am. Generally only need ~6 hours sleep so going to bed 2-3 at the moment. Currently catching up on a V+ full of fun TV :)
Well, considering it's 8:00PM here and I got to work in 2 hours... ;)
Well that went well.
I fixed the Ipod. (currently synching piles of mooosic and mooovies back onto it. \o/
Daughter 2 went to sleep abut 02:00.
Daughter 1 just woke up screaming and is (fingers crossed) going back to sleep on the sofa.
It's my turn to take Josh to school too (he's up in 3 hours time :()
It was warm in bed, can I go back please? :(

Sounds a bit like how I get sometimes. This weekend I thought 'sod it' and work stayed mostly at work.
It was warm in bed, can I go back please? :(
Yes. I won't tell.
Having done the school run I'm currently sat on my bed wondering if I dan be bothered to get undressed and get back in. I don't know why I waste these precious minutes even giving it consideration. On lates again tonight so I'm allowed.

I'm now sat in work wishing I could have taken my birthday off. I hate having to work on my bday when there's so many better things I could be doing elsewhere!
Just got home from work. Had emergency wine which is a first and which is also bad. Need to calm my racing thoughts though and get some sleeps and wine seems to have done the trick.
I need to find better ways to relax.

well i have chosen this opportune time (essay time) to become addicted to gem craft. :( Nooo i need to be writing stuff about stuff not playing destroy the monsters.
I've got *2* daughters up. And I've got to be up for work in 3 hours. :(
Anyone got any tranquilizer darts?

What time did you get back into bed? I was up at 6.20 with Georgie screaming.
she went back to sleep must have been screaming in her sleep lol
Its a good job as I would have been asleep til whenever I was woken due to forgetting to take phone up for alarm :/ oops.
The only reason I am ever up late is due to 14month old baby being wide awake when she shouldn't be :(
What time did you get back into bed?
Just gone 4 and then didn't get to slepp till gone 04:30.:(
I haven't stayed up late on a week night in so long, I'm on earlies this week so I'm in bed by 10:30 and up at 6:00 :(

Bah, why do men never listen? I told you to wake me up after an hour if Ella was still up :p
Bah, why do men never listen?
Did you say something?
I was rather used to very late nights heading to bed as the cheeky beginnings of a sun started to perv over the horizon... alas, having now taken on extra work to which I cycle, so I awake at 0600hrs... I find if I don't head to bed before 2200-2300hrs I find it extremely unpleasant to be dragging my little bottom into the shower at 0600!
This reminds me, I must post an update on the sleeping thread I created! :D

I'm usually up late because if I go to bed early I wake up around 2/3am.
Nights tonight. MEH!!!!!!!!!!!

For anyone having trouble sleeping at night wondering which one I was missing, it was the very first one. :o I assumed I'd got it on my first play through as it was reported as being in such an obvious place. Turns out it was quite well hidden.

You have no idea, this is actually late! It counts as late if you've just got in or are going to bed, and early if youve just got up :D
Just got in from work. *yawn*
I wonder how many rugrats will be ill today.
02:00 lights out.
07:30 lights on
:(
Just need to get my current project out the door tomorrow and then hopefully it's a much easier week.
So much for working for yourself - it's the hardest thing I've done :/

*passes the coffee* ;D Coffee is the self employed persons best friend IMO ;D
It is hard work but so worth it! Do you work from home? If so that's pretty tough going with the lack of people around to talk to - I feeeeeeeel the mehness! BUT! but but but but but! What you are doing YOU are achieving - it's your baby and it's all down to your geniusness (which it is) and drive and and and determination to make things work!
So you should be darn proud and chuffed (if knackered) and completely convinced it's going to work and be worth it in the end - because it will be!!!
No play some funky music and go be super chuffed with how much awesomeness you're achieving - all by yourself - as opposed to being a cog in a big machine! :D

Same. Can't stand Coffee and I know it would be a useful tool in the battle against late nights. Odd thing is I love the smell of Coffee more than pretty much anything.

Funny thing is I like being on my own. I usually have at least one cat with me anyway so it's not that bad :)
Working for yourself - it's a bit strange sometimes. You'd think you'd be motivated all the time but it's just not the case. Also, it's very easy to get in the trap of working for as much time as you have available rather than setting yourself a working time from, say, 09:00 to 17:00. Typically I'll be say downstairs half watching the TV whilst eating my dinner with a laptop sat by the side of me. At bedtime I'll go up around midnight but then sit in bed with the laptop for an hour or two more. It's a bad habit and one I need to break.
We haven't had a holiday in over three years and it's just because I can't get the time off - I have three weeks owed to myself from this year alone and just the other day I quite literally didn't even have time to go to the toilet because I was dealing with calls, web site issues, and my current projects. I *need* a break badly :(
WOaaaaaah! Dude! You just tell people on the phone "Dude... I need a wee/poo, give me a minute and I'll call you back!" and you go wee!! Don't go getting yourself ill with work!
I am being a Queen procrastinator this week - normally I am work work work work work and completely obsessed with it in the day but this week is just poo (plus my sketch pad died on me which doesn't help things). So I've been tidying up loose ends I've been meaning to do for ages.
But! I have a work time. 8am is when work starts, 5pm is when it stops. Sometime around 10:30 is tea making time and training the dog then around noon/one I have lunch (normally outside watching the dog go nuts or if not reading some news...) but I force myself to take them. You have to do the same! After 5pm say, no more computer for work! None! Put it away! You're officially closed! Else it'll become an unhealthy obsession and you'll make yourself poorly and we don't want that! :)
Pets rock whilst being self employed. I would have lost the plot in February this year if I didn't have our Trio. She's b-e-aaaaaaaaaaaaaautiful :D
Pheebs, you make much sense. Sadly I have a different problem - I'm a dab hand at procrastinating during the day and then end up working late to catch up. I may work best later in the day but that really isn't the point. Can't be healthy.
LOL!
I have so much to do though and no time to do it plus because the company does so many different things, I'm constantly moving from one mode of work to another. Also, if it pays you find you can't turn it down so when the chance came recently, of me working away on a project at consultant rates whilst continuing to do my external project work, I took it. I was more than doubling the rates that I ever got even on London contract work but unfortunately, I'm not very money-motivated which means I don't really appreciate it. It's OK someone saying to me, "but the money's good", but that just doesn't work for me and it probably should because then at least I'd probably feel better about having to work so hard and for such long hours. Of course, the alternative is much worse - that the company goes down the pan because I don't take all the work I'm offered. I will achieve a work/life balance sometime, just not yet ;)

Imposter! Who are you? Away from the Internet? This cannot be. :p
Very long time no speak. Sounds like there's change afoot. Hope it's all going well. :)
As for why I'm up, waiting to grab some stuff off the 'net at 3am before my internet account disappears into a black hole. Wonder if I'll have any internet (or phone) when I wake up later.

A paragraph typically consists of a unifying main point, thought, or idea accompanied by supporting details. Check ;D
The credit crunch is biting, saying no to work isn't really an option.
I need money for the future but I have to work. If work was enjoyable, they wouldn't have to pay you to do it.
Don't understand the last one but I don't think I should ignore you - you're probably making perfect sense :D

Good to see Teamocuk still up and running....I have recently put my new PC to task (http://teamocuk.co.uk/cpartcred.php?p=SAH&u=136945) :D
Oh, you missed the whole saga with that. It ran out of disk space and corrupted all the databases, and I didn't have an up-to-date backup.
Yes, I'm back. The net was still there when I woke up but it disappeared soon after.
