Dull poll I know, but which rolling pin do you prefer: old style wood or marble?
I prefer wood because it feels better. What do you think?

Marble, especially when rolling out pastry because the marble helps keep the pastry cool.
That said I've got a wooden one because it was a helluva lot cheaper. |

I picked wood because I've actually never used a marble one but wouldn't marble be more hygenic?

Only ever used wood so my answer is probably a little biased.
