I love sushi muchly. I don't have it very often so was really pleased to find a new Japanese restaurant near the office in France.

I have never tried proper Sushi, or even restaurant-quality Sushi (which in most cases in the UK still probably isn't proper - raw fish - Sushi).
All I've had is the supermarket imitation stuff, which I have to admit I seem to be addicted to. I generally have a look in Tescos every time I'm there - sometimes I resist, many times I don't. Oddly, I much prefer Tescos Sushi to Waitrose equivalent. PS - I never bother with the Wasabi or the Soy Sauce sachets, or the chopsticks (I have a supply if anyone wants some ![]() ![]() |

Proper raw sushi is divine!
When I was in Japan a few years ago I went to one of the big fish markets at about 4am and ended up having sushi for breakfast at a restaurant just around the corner where the fish was so fresh it was still warm. Scrummy. |

Fantastic selection of maki, sashimi, yakitori, kabayaki seafood (alot of lobster/oyster options), and then the delicious japanese steaks, ducks, chicken etc ![]() I smell... (and hopefully taste) a south west BD meet coming on! ![]()
