Er yes you read that right. Mum has told me to buy a mouse mat as the surface of my desk is, erm, suffering a bit.
![]() Don't need one of those special gaming ones, just something fairly big that I can use with my Logitech MX Revolution with. Any suggestions? ![]() |

How about £3?
![]() Sainsburys flexible teflon baking sheet - it's in with the tinfoil and stuff. It's excellent and double sided so once one side wears out - flip it over. Been using one for years now.

Haha. Don't have a Sainsbury's in my town but I could look to get myself to one.

I expect Tesco will have something similar. It's a good idea actually. I've worn the surface of my desk away from 10 years mousing on it.
![]() There's one problem I can see though - how to stop the sheet moving. ![]() Last edited by Mark; 28-07-2009 at 18:57. |

Mine is duck taped around a thin piece of MDF and has a small amount of rubber glue on the base to grip the surface. :P

Double sided tape is a much easier method, and acetone will easily remove the residue when you want to remove it.

You don't need (or want) a baking tray. All you want is the teflon sheet, which you can buy in rolls and cut to size.

I tried that stuff. Mouse hated it, wouldn't track at all. Microsoft Optical mouse.
