WMP Album View

I installed Media Centre and spent the last 4 hours retagging all my mp3's today but am a bit dissapointed in the way WMP works. When i go to Album view if an album has more than 1 artist in it splits it all down into album (artist) instead of just 1 album instance.

While typing i realised it doesnt do it on all albums, in fact it only looks like the ones where i had to add all the data. Is it becuse i need to tick Compilation?

EDIT

And if it is how do i get media player to take account of the changes?

It was the album artist tag causing the problem, hidden away in a second tab which i missed.
