If I were to unleash a little pedantry, I'm not sure that Batman doesn't have too many colours, but otherwise it all looks authentic . Sadly I never had the pleasure of playing anything on the NES.

On a similar note, I loved the Batman: The Movie game on my old Amstrad CPC 464 all those years ago

That was an awesome game on the CPC. It was an age where movie tie-ins were getting good press with Robocop, AvP (on the atari jaguar), Platoon, Predator, Untouchables etc

I don't remember the NES being able to replay sound that good. The Megadrive might have been able to but not the NES

I thought the music sounded more like an Amstrad (perhaps with an extra channel or two) - C64 would have sounded better doing that music (Ahhh... amazing SAM chip).

The Megadrive would have done better too - remember the music in Streets of Rage 2? Besides, the Megadrive was 16 bit anyway

Aye, agreed. I had an add on 64K RAM pack so actually had the speech!!!11!1
