CD / DVD label printing

Hi,

I have google this area for a while now. Which frrebi software is good for printing labels for CD's & DVD's etc.
I have Vista OS, Printer is Canon iP4200, and I use the sticky CD labels that have the small centre hole, 8mm I think !

The CD Ladel soft ware will not work in Vista and Canon do not do a driver / update for it !
Instead there is a page and half and notes on how to try and get it to work !
TBH, I do really under stand the notes and the canon help line is office hours only, so I a stuffed really on calling them, as I am at work Mon-Fri !

I have just down loaded this relavant file and all it wants to do is Unistall my Cd Labell soft ware ! ?
I think I will have to phone the Canon help line !

That is not unexpected. It probably wants to remove your old software first.

OK, i have phoned canon help line and the New up date does want to uninstall the older version. I was just a little concern what the Up date was trying to do. I thought it would just up date the older version.
So I will have a go 2moro and go for the install !

Tys - try having a look with the Microsoft Office template wizard/searcher - if you know the type of paper/seriel number of the paper you're printing onto, you should be able to find the official sheet template to download and add to from an office/visuals program.

Just an alternative route to try perhaps

I have down loaded the latest Soft ware pack from Cano web site and it now works fine !
It seems it has taken Canon over 18 months to make a Vista compatable driver for their Lable soft ware !
Thanks every one for your suggesetion and help, The Lable printing has began !
