Yeah. They're homeless people as far as I know. Other than that I don't know who these people are. Imagine how much more powerful they would be if we knew the story of the little girl.

I like the power of photography
![]() These people are homeless. What do they have to endure? Why are they homeless? Can we help? Should something be done? James Nachtwey's photos are wonderfully processed and deeply harrowing. He's a war photographer who documents the worst atrocities mankind creates. He does so in the hope that by showing us normal folk what goes on something can be done about it. Photography has the power to change the world but the story is lost here. That's a damn shame.
