House
I'd put off watching this due to other series and also I didn't believe it would be as good as people said but boy was I wrong. I was a little concerned about watching Hugh Laurie do an American accent but I've watched the first 5 episodes and I have to say I'm really impressed. Although it is currently a bit of a one trick pony and the episodes are a bit samey its just so well acted that it doesn't really matter, how they have come up with 5 series worth of different weird diseases is beginning to intrigue me too

9 series'? Current episode is S05E11
Pretty much the same episode structure throughout the entire 5 series', but the odd episode stands out as much better than the rest every now and again.

Ahhhh yes 98 episodes
I like the way they stand alone too it means that I can watch the odd one on my own without Aitch missing out MB |

Ah well that's OK for a while then, its not easy to find quality entertainment that you don't want to share and when the person you want to share it with doesn't come home till 8.30pm most days you get a bit desperate

I wouldn't know about that problem, don't have anyone to share anything with *plays sad violin music*
I find House something I can watch, then watch the same episode again a few hours later with somebody that hasn't seen it

I'm about to crack and watch my third episode of the evening, Aitch and I are watching Heroes together so she'll be happy with that, then we have some BSG and there's always the last 2 series of Sopranos MB |

You tried watching Dexter? don't wanna take the topic off of house within 10 posts, so yay or nay will do
I'm watching the latest episode of house at the moment, it gets less and less about the "main case" after series 3 and the storyline of the staff picks up. Have you picked up the House DVD's? They're usually going cheap at HMV.
