Default Poor Jade Goody!!

I know she isn't the most liked celeb and she doesn't do much to earn the fame but OMG

http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Sho...er_Has_Spread_

Poor girl must be so frightened of leaving her boys without their mummy (I think thats all I'd care about)
Its scary to think this happens to so many people everyday being a grown up is pants as you just don't know/think about all this.
I just can't imagine what she is going through nor what other people that suffer cancer go through.
Its evil nasty and meh
Can I be a kiddy again please? I don't want to think/know about life threatening stuff.

/goes back into her bubble on her own fluffy cloud up in the bright blue sky.

I don't care for her much really but I've seen posts on other places by people which are just plain hateful towards her and I think that's poor behaviour. I'd not wish this on anyone.

And mine.

I personally cant stand the woman, but after losing loved ones to this **** of a disease, I would certainly never wish it on anyone either.

This. As a personality I really can't stand here. As a person, however, this just isn't fair or right, and I wouldn't wish it on anybody, of any age. It hits rather close to home actually...

As I've said before, I lost a family member to Cancer when she wasn't that much older than Jade is. To be honest, I don't remember that much because I was away at Uni for most of it. I do remember seeing her so upset on my 21st birthday when I went to find her, and I also remember she died 7 days later. It's perhaps as well I don't remember that much more.

I feel the same. Although I really don't have an ounce of time for her this is tragic and I do hope that in spite of what has been said she does make a recovery.

I remember my stints at hospices and it was just harrowing and eye opening. Cancer (and chemo) are both horrible in their own ways.

I don't think anybody is really wishing cancer on her, but I'd say if statistics dictate that somebody had to get it....

I think people find it easy to write hateful words and feel less sympathy. Her actions/words really do as a whole, reflect badly back onto her. While it is horrible, I don't feel sorry or much at all for Jade Goody the person. I think it's just human nature* and when she got diagnosed I'll admit to being one of those people who wrote comments that some found irksome.

*Another example would be Alfred Nobel.

Its very sad she will never get to see her kids grow up, I hope if one thing comes of it, its that women go and have their smear tests because Jade Goody just shows how important they are.

I think the fact they send them away is shocking, surely it is better to do a smear. In Scotland they send you out the reminders from 20, it has been brought back to the front of my mind again by Jade Goody and have made the appointment.

I understand that there has been an increase in women under 25 turning up at GP surgeries requesting smears, often specifically mentioning Jade Goody. This places GPs in a difficult position in that they know that if they do a smear and send it off to the lab for analysis the technicians will see that it is for someone under 25 and will not analyse it - a product of statistics, cost benefit analysis and limited NHS budgets. Perhaps this will improve when David Cameron becomes PM?

Like many other people, I have not got much time for Jade Goody or her like. However, I would not wish on anyone what she is going through. I feel truly sorry for her.
