Making a picture movie DVD...

Hello hello everyone

For my girlfriend's parent's wedding anniversary we have collated a huge selection of photos from their childhood, youth, marriage and married life which we are looking to compile into a dvd.

We're looking to make a dvd slideshow which we can pepper with various transitions and music from their favourite albums/relevant tunes, as well as a couple of captions/sfx.

I used to be rather proficient in iMovie, Adobe Premier and FinalCutPro but haven't had that software for some years- does anybody recommend a piece of software that I can get hold of and use quite simply to achieve the above desire?

I have nero to burn it to DVD at the end no problems but suggestions from people would be greatly appreciated as ever

I await both help and the inevitable cries of "mum pics" et al

I use Proshow Slideshow producer - it even burns it for you, it is quite easy to use as well.

Thanks chap - I'll check it out and have a play : appears to be a 14-day full working trial which will give me enough time for what I need
