Solution?

Basically I want a nice pair of headphones (my sennheiser PC150 set needs replacing). The PC150s (which I may just buy another pair of) are superb, I just fancy trying some other senns. Now, if I get say a nice pair of HD595 headphones...I'll need a separate mic. Now when I used to have a desk mic it wasn't very good - so has anyone got a solution to my problem? I'd love to try the 595s but a microphone is imperative.

I have no idea idea what desk microphones are like now..
