Default Drivers

Can anyone get the Realtek Audio Driver and nForce4 Chipset Driver for XP32 off there any faster than the 10KB/s it's giving me?

I'd just download the nforce4 driver from the nvidia website, it'll be exactly the same and they have shed loads of bandwidth. IIrc realtek drivers are also bundled in nforce drivers so that should solve that issue too.

Make sure you select 'legacy' in the product type drop down box, not nforce, then nforce 4 will be listed under product series

I've done that too, though for some reason the versions are totally different sounding 6.67 vs 15.23...

Asus do that too, rename their nforce drivers to different names but i still always went ahead with the nvidia ones and never experienced a problem. What's the worst that could happen!?

Gave it a go, but their FTP server seems to have crashed. I'll give it another go later if you're still in need.

Same as I kept getting, but I just managed to get a connection. 10kB/s over a stable link so fingers crossed it'll complete.

Edit - now 20kB/s. Wohoo.

Well the nVidia chipset ones worked ok but don't seem to have included the audio, so I need to find those separately.

edit - CNET ftw, getting them there

You can get them here too - faster than CNET probably.
