Jonsi and Alex: Riceboy Sleeps

This is new material form Jonsi of Sigur Ros and Alex Somers who is Jonsi's other half, Alex and Jonsi also do all the art work for the Sigur Ros albums and often release accompanying art books and art shows.

Riceboy Sleeps is a beautiful album to my ears although is going to be very Marmite to most people as it is ambient to the nth degree; at times sounding like wind blowing over woodwind instruments and at others like the sound tectonic plates would make as they move over one another, but behind it all is something almost landscape like, as if someone has distilled Iceland's landscapes and placed them in to music form

If you are looking for something very different and very relaxing then give it a try

I'm liking it so far, though i'm only 2 songs in. Always liked Sigur Ros...
