Blackberry Help Please :)

hi, my dads just asked me a question about deleting emails on his Blackberry.

Having never owned a Blackberry there is a lot i can't figure out.

He said the IT guys at work managed to delete an email from the phone, but not the server. He basically wants it so he can hide the messages whilst out of the office, and then pick them up when next at work.

anybody know how to do this?

I can't remember the option off the top of my head (and am too lazy to walk upstairs to get my Blackberry) but from memory go into the email inbox, push the blackberry button and somewhere in the options there is an option to control deleted items. Set it to delete on the handheld only.

That's it, it's in the e-mail reconciliation settings:

Change the top one to 'Handheld'

Job done.

it was setup correctly then. I assumed as much if it'd already been in the hands of a tech guy since it was migrated
