Default Bournemouth Air Show

Pheebs, her dad and I spent yesterday on Bournemouth sea front to watch day 2 of the 4 day air show. It was extremely good fun to watch, and (armed with my canon kit lens) allowed me to take some photos in a situation that I'm not familiar.

The Crowd

Red Arrows

The most perfectly timed shot EVAR! (shame about the focus and zoom!)

Iconic red arrows heart

Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster Bomber

Intimidating

A vampire or something...

Team Guinot Wing Walkers

Ominous looking clouds

Eurofighter

I've only auto levelled a few and resized... so post processing is minimal.
Now - I realllly want some more lenses

I like the second Lancaster one - does look ominous silhouetted against the sky like that.
Did you see the firework display btw?

The Lanc has a great shape.

I've got a version of this printed onto A3 and framed on my wall.

I like doing silhouettes

The "fireworks" were the evening before, so we missed them... Not that bothered though hearing what we've heard about them!

Cheers Mondo - although I am perturbed by the sloping horizon!
