Yay!
Got a 38.6°C *101°F* fever and also have tonsillitis - 10 days of antibiotics for me.
Got to drive home tomorrow... this should be fun. Urrgh.

What should have been a 2 hour drive took 3 1/2
Hugely fun... Not had both a fever and tonsillitis before - it's a combination that I don't want again. *goes to curl up in bed again...*

I've known a lot of people this year have tonsilitis. Hope you feel better soon!

You poor bugger. You're not doing well with colds/diseases/general ill health this year are you? Get well soon.

Partially it's due to the fact that I've pretty much been in the flat all year, due to surgery and unemployment, so when I do go out - I get everything. Still, feeling significantly better today, very happy with the suggestion from one of my ex-workmates who used to be a nurse that boiled sweets are good for tonsillitis - currently sat in the flat surrounded with various sweeties. Oh, and a fever and tonsillitis is a great way to loose weight it seems...

Good suggestion there. I swear by that one for sore throats. Just keeps fluids moving which helps keep the throat clear (or at least acts as a distraction).

Urgh I know where you're coming from. I had to drive home once when I got real flu. I thought I was going to die at the wheel at one point and I could barely press the brake or turn the wheel. You have my total sympathy fella.
