Yeah, yeah, I know it's taken me a long time but I got around to watching the second film the other week and the final one last night. They are just so god damn cool I need some more. Why aren't there any more Bourne films? Why? WHY GOD DAMN IT!!!

Looks like there's going to be a reboot eventually.

Bourne is just pure trouser warming awesomeness. Love all 3. I've seen the original film made in the late eighties as well. A pretty decent effort even if the fighting is a bit...cack in comparison with the later ones.

Strange, I swear I read last year that they were going to combine for another Bourne project, I guess it got shelved or abandoned.

The next Bourne movie is not a Damon/Greengrass effort, but they've already expressed an interest to do another one in years to come when Matt Damon is a little older.

The Bourne movies are my favourite ever trilogy, seen them countless times, and the most impressive thing about them is that each movie is better than the one before it. The final movie, Ultimatum, is phenomenal.

Too right. I watched the first one ages ago and had them all lined up and ready to watch but never got around to it. The story line is just so good and it gets better with each film. I could happily watch them again tonight one after the other

I actually did watch them all back to back one day.
I even own the trilogy on DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray.

When I get a blu-ray player this will be one of the series that I get first!

The series is just awesome and destroys anything else in the same genre. You can tell that the bond series did respond to this in the last couple of films.

I really wish they would make more and it's perfect to do it as a prequel when he was under orders and in their control. It has to be the same director and cast though, I can see a new director making a hash of it.

edit:- The first one with the chase is a great test for your cinema setup, crank the sound and it's awesome

I loved Casino Royale, it was very good and is the closest in quality to the Bourne franchise, but I've never been able to finish Quantum of Solace, I've tried on 3 occassions and never gotten past the first shoot out in Italy because of the godawful direction, notably the directors inability to hold a shot for any longer than a nanosecond before changing camera. I've never seen anything like it in my life (to that degree) and, if I'm being honest, I hope I never do again, if this were the future of direction I would never watch another new movie again, it offended me that badly.

They are the saving grace of espionage films during the James "Surfing on a Tsunami Wave whilst firing a shoe-mounted-Howitzer" Bond era

Brilliant entertainment and something I would love to see more of... (providing they don't spoil anything )
