for sale:iPhone 4
i know a few people expressed interest so thought i'd chuck it in here.
my good lady has decided that she'd prefer a mulberry bag and go back to her 3gs than stick with her iPhone 4 (i think she's mental but hey). it's irritatingly locked to orange just now, but thankfully is still on 4.0.1 so can easily be worked around. phone has been swapped at the Genius Bar so it's a brand new one still with the protective covers on and never used. we're looking for 450 on it, because it's still got 11 and a half months on the warranty and the actual handset is brand new. holler if you want some more details. peace and love

Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped writing about other things and made this your signature, yours could be like mine. Look down, back up. Where are you? You're on Boat Drinks, reading the signature your signature could be like. I'm on a computer. |

That'll be an arm and a leg, to you Sir!
Happy to stick it on our noticeboard too if you run out of other options, though being a tech savvy lot they're more likely to know the deals. |

just tried to sell this on ebay again.... for the 4th time. and it's been canned after it's been finished because a fraudulent account was used to bid.
is this just bad luck or is ebay this horrific these days?

eBay is that bad, phones (more so iPhones) attract it more than anything though really.

There are precautions you can take to reduce the risk, but there will always be one - simply because it's a popular item that can easily be shipped elsewhere. Buyer makes a fraudulent payment - you get a chargeback so end up with neither phone nor money, and the scammer pockets the proceeds from selling it on.
Just as well the account got canned before it got that far. That's the one reason I've always been reluctant to sell on eBay, though I'm sure it's OK for cheap tat. |

it's not even got to a payment stage yet on 4 attempts. 1 was a fake paypal email they sent to try and cajole me into posting the item. ignoring the fact the email might as well have been in crayon. the others have all be cancelled by ebay themselves or a guy who changed his mind last minute.
