Look to the skyyyy!
Heads up people!
Quantradids Meteorite shower tonight and tomorrow eve! Roughly a shooting star a minute - normally nice lush long ones too! Unfortunately for me its a cloooooooudy night (boo HISS) so I am putting my blanky and picnic matt and hat back indoors in hope it might clear up for tomorrow night and a snooze under the sky! Hopefully someone out there might have a little bit more luck than me Make a wish! x |

Peak for the shower is 4-6am. There's also a partial solar eclipse at around 8-9.30am (depending on where you live). Looks like I'll be clouded out for both.
Remember folks - NEVER look directly at the sun. PS - And watch Stargazing LIVE (BBC Two 8PM tomorrow and weds, first part on iPlayer). |

You see anything Peebee or did you stay in? We've got snow again so unlikely to see anything this morning unless it clears.

What on Planet Crazeelovelypeople?! That's amazing! You must be in the same orbital as us on Earth
And noooo it was sheer cloudy cloud clouds all night. Got up a few times to check but by 5am I threw the towel in and snuggled down into the depths of my duvet. Maybe tonight! Not likely mind with the weather as it is! SKY POWDER PUFFS mooove out the WAY! Pleeeeeeaaaaaaaseeeeeeeeeeee |

I've not been able to do anything in 2010 as I've not got my data interface sorted out but come the big meteor storms later this year I'll be in my shack bouncing radio signals off of the meteors during the big storms.

My enuendo-alarm just went off, and I'm not sure why.

still gutted we missed the last one due to stupid cloud. Froze almost death in a lay-by on a country lane with curtain twitchers thinking we were doggers. Not fun.
