Default IE9

Anyone tried it on W7 yet? Keep getting "urgent update" messages and it's this. Scared

Yep, I've got it on my laptop. I haven't noticed any problems but I never use IE for browsing.

Amusingly it doesn't work with Camden's exchange webmail server.

Even more amusingly I raised this with IT during the beta period of IE9 and was assured that it would work when IE9 went gold.

To add insult to injury, I have so far counted seven (7) billboards in the Kings Cross area alone advertising IE9.

I may call IT next week and ask them what's going on

While I'm at it I might ask if my work laptop can be upgraded from IE6....

[edit]

Just realised that I forgot to say that I have it running on my main PC and it's quite nice and minimal, like FF4, and is snappy and nice.

All our work PCs run IE6, it hampers my browsing, along with Websense....

We're getting upgraded to XP and whatever IE they see fit to stick in with that...

I keep seeing ads for IE9 too - seems strange being that it's free. I never understand advertising

Might get around to installing it at the weekend. Hope it works...
