Odd but good offer at Blacks (if you need outdoorsy stuff)

Was browsing in Blacks earlier and they've got a bit of an odd offer on at the moment. Buy anything in the shop and you can buy something on the display at the counter half price. So I bought a 60p bar of Kendal mint cake and got the insulated mug I wanted for £6 instead of £12.

I couldn't quite work out their logic but it might come in handy for some of yous?

what sorta stuff do they have on the display at the counter?

Seems like it could be too good to ignore

It was mainly drinks bottles, insulated mugs, torches and waterproofs by the look of it. Small camping stuff basically.

Stock clearance. They quite often have that sort of stuff on offer.

So essentially buy the stuff on the counter at a reasonable price as opposed to their normal price!?

It's pretty much a permanent offer

The uptake is so good that it means it can be bought in bigger bulks, at lower costs, and still make a pretty good margin
