Ok, thanks - a couple of point:

Scalable processor support – up to two-way multi-processor support.

Running core 2 duo requires this yeah?

Software Installation and Maintenance – automatically install, configure, repair, or remove software applications.

What does this mean? Is this the add/remove software from control panel?

So basically, it's just enhanced networking.. Basically, I have a PC which I'm going to use as a second PC which will be networked wirelessly. So it should still work?

It's referring to the physical hardware, not the cores inside a single chip, so no, you don't need Pro for that.

At least I'm 99% sure that's right.

Home should do for what you need.

Ok thanks.. I just didn't fancy forking out an extra £45 for something I wasn't going to use
