Am I turning into a old man?
I have been giving serious consideration to changing my car. Only instead of a sporty car, I have been looking at a BMW 7 series?
My mate said I would be getting a pipe and slippers next.

Nothing wrong with the 7 series - it's a bit bargy for my liking, and it's just another big BMW, but I'd never have the need for something so big.

I think the 7 is too big for most needs. A nice 5 would be more suitable I think

I only like the sound of this car because its a V8, has all AC Schnitzer kit and has tv/satnav and is cheap for what it should be.
Having said all that, I can get an older 540i off Ebay for a little more money.

I can say if I end up commuting loads ie back upto Kidderminster / Liverpool way then I was considering a barge. Something along the lines of a volvo/SAAB with ultimate grandad seats for comfort. As long as the thing can do a ton down the motorway then i'd be happy. I'm 23
I can offset that though by saying if I did start commuting that kind of distance again I would get myself a weekend toy. |
