Default 2.5" PATA HD

Hey all,

I think it's time to upgrade the HD in the iBook. I keep running out of space here on the 40 gig drive.

So I need 100 gig + drive for this with PATA or ATA interface and as cheap as possible

any suggestions?

Samsung.

You can get up to 160GB these days, but you'll probably not see any change from £100 if you go that big.

Samsung as Mark suggests are good, I quite like the Hitachi drives for notebooks but my last experience with them was a few years back so I don't know if they are still as good currently.

I have an aversion to Hitachi because of their path, though to be fair I had a laptop disk that turned out to be from them for 3.5 years. Only reason I pulled it out was because it was a 40GB and I wanted more.
