Fifa RTWC
Aargh why is this game so painful to play?
It's shocking :/ Commentary goes round in a loop every other second and is inane, and the players don't feel like they're actually moving anywhere even with sprint on. Think I might just not bother tbh, it's testing my achievement whoreness far too much. I hate playing crap games

Put the difficulty on easy, match times down to 5 mins, and blast through it as quick as possible. It's how I got my 700 points on it I agree though, the game sucks huge ass.

I have and I still hate it
I'll take it to Swansea with me at the weekend so probably blast through it then but every time I've tried to stick at it today something's just made me go 'aaaargh' and turn it off. I am tired though so maybe my patience is lower than normal

I had the same problem when I rented Fifa World Cup 2006, after spending so long on PES I just found it absolutely awful. I got 500 quick points and decided I had neither the time nor patience to go through the challenge mode for the other 500 points.
From the demo I played Fifa 07 is much better, though the achivements are much harder :/

Yeah PES is so much superior to Fifa. I haven't played a Fifa game in a while so I didn't realise the difference would be so huge.
I was quite surprised really, although a lot of people would disagree I'd say EA do quite good sports games (except then regurgitate them every year so there's no point buying new ones every time) and they seem to have let themselves down there. But I guess they've got such strong competition in PES.

I think EA do some great sports games generally. Madden, NHL, Tiger Woods and Fight Night are all great games. NBA Live 06 was crap, and Fifa is still nowhere near PES. Their main problem is the yearly updates which don't really add a lot (though Madden 07 is a big improvement over the 06 version, with a lot more added to it).

It'd be nice if they went for it one day and made a great fifa game.
You never know, it might happen one day. Be nice to see some competition for PES.

That's a shame, I remember playing RTWC '98 and thinking it was the greatest thing since sliced bread

I still own Fifa 98 and think it's easily the best footy game EA have done
