Default On the scrounge - Wireless antenna

Lo everyone

Work has been kind enough to give me a surplus to requirement Draytek 2910VG, which is splendid news - the only snag is that it's missing it's aerials.

Does anybody have a couple kicking about? I don't mind buying them but it's one of those things I imagine people have just rolling about in a box somewhere. If anybody could help then I'll put a beer on the slate for you.

Cheers

3dBi ones OK? I have spares from my old 2600G, so they'll be the right ones (bear in mind there are two different, and incompatible, connection types).

That's fine dude, signal strength isn't going to be an issue. Shall I PM you an address?

Unusually for me, went straight to them. Still sealed in their original packaging.

I'm trying to find a cheap way to make the Notts meet currently, which might be another option.

For getting them to me? Could be indeed. Will I get any signal from the box without them? cant say I've ever tried using an AP without.

Laptop only sits a couple of meters away typically.

Doubtful, but worth a try. Surprised you can't 'borrow' one from work.
